Not Afraid of Some Hills and a Little Dirt?

The picturesque trail begins at Starry Field, travels over top a covered bridge, and follows an inviting hill path for about a mile. The rest of the race runs alongside the beautiful Yellow Breeches Creek before returning back to Starry Fields. You will certainly be greeted with cheers and celebrations at the finish line.

Your registration will include a Dri-fit performance t-shirt, a chance to win door prizes and an opportunity to support a non-profit organization focused on advancing education in our local community.  In addition, exciting awards will be given to the top 3 finishers of the race.

Who Benefits?

Proceeds from the Lead the Way 5k: Community Run/Walk for Education will benefit the West Shore Chamber of Commerce Foundation (WSC Foundation), a 501(c)3 organization focused on developing leadership and communication skills with programs for local high school students as well as educational initiatives for business and residents of the West Shore. The Junior Leadership Program (JLP) is a signature program of the WSC Foundation which was established to help students succeed in their future academic, career, and community aid endeavors. With your help, this and other programs will be provided with funds to support education and scholarship opportunities for local aspiring leaders.
